I installed with Software on Windows XP on a MacPro with 10.6.1 using VMWare Fusion 2.
Now I updated to Version 3 of VMWare Fusion.
After that CT6Pro crashes during the start.

I had the same problem before, when I tried to move the HD-File of Fusion to an other loaction.

How can I make CT work again without a new installation?

BTW popVideo Converter and WidgetCast PRO are running fine also after the Update to Fusion3

Thanks for reading and a helpful answer.

Best regards from Switzerland.
Jens-Ulrich

orient teeth direction for tilted head

CT6 has adjustments for the teeth.
position up, down, left, right
Left or right Titling
sizing
color

But they don't have directional position for up and down (pitch)
or angle left to right (yaw)

I've tried CT with an image of the character looking up towards his right, but the
teeth look really crooked, because they are not aligned with the head.

Any suggestions?

Also, how does CT decide where to slice the upper and lower teeth when it loads a custom teeth template?
Mouth force to close issue

So my team is having this problem in CT6 where the force to close on the characters lips keeps breaking. We are encountering the problem when we have a character with teeth showing or a open mouth in the base picture, we map out the points, apply the Force to Close setting in the mouth editor, like normal. But when we switch to the Script editor the force to close "breaks" and the mouth opens. Because of this the lip animation is now working off the open mouth instead of the closed mouth. to fix this we have to uncheck and recheck the force to close box every time we make changes or output the animation.

Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix for this yet?

"Facial Expression" Content Pack question...

While I see the tutorial video for the content packs use the animated faces...will these same add-on expressions work with my family's pictures? It works well, and looks great on export- the only problem is the unscripted motion (for character not 'doing' anything) is incredibly fast and 'clicky'- almost like they are in fast forward. The script appears fine on playback prior to export.

At first I tried to amend the issue by creating an empty script for each character, and manually entering all their movements, but with 4 characters, multiple stages and over 20 minutes of presentation, it's really time consuming.

I thought it may have something to do with the framerate, but I can't drop it down from 30fps on WMV export, and I'm unable to export in MP4 at the moment, due to reallusion's server upgrade and not being able to authorise my license.

Ideally I want to export in WMV as I'm putting together an entire presentation with transition effects in windows movie maker.

I purchased the PRO version of Crazytalk 6.1PRO yesterday, and it's absolutely sensation. I followed all the pdf and video tutorials and have a pretty decent presentation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is a Uni assignment, due tomorrow evening, so I have to have it done by then!

Cheers,

Luke

Which Crazy Talk 6 puppeteering input devices are there

The manual says that the mouse is the "default" device for puppeteering. My image has a red square around it, but I am unable to click on anything at all. (even minimize, or close window) When I click on anything I get that "bong" type sound that usually says you can't click there. (think having a dialogue window open for word and trying to select formatting...best way I can describe it)

I have to ctrl-alt-del to get out....
UPDATE******** Problem fixed....it was placing the window outside of my monitor resolutionf for some reason..... I want my character to start off frame and walk in. I import the character, then add a script. I then click on the script, but am stuck at that point. (I know how to move the character with preview or record, but am unable to get it to start off frame) Apparently, you can add a keyframe but I can't seem to find that option. (although, I do know how to set a keyframe with the camera movement)

Any ideas?

Frazzled newbie would appreciate some help on mouth settings

G'day to you all, how are you going? My name is Christina and I live in Australia :-) I just bought crazy talk 6 and I am in love with it already :-) I just made my first model, of a bear and I did the eyes and the mouth and I saved it to my desktop. But I am having trouble with the mouth. Namely, I stuffed it up big time and I can't figure out how to fix it :-(

What I did was, I somehow managed to get the wire fitting that goes around the mouth all mixed up, and now it looks like the blue lines are all zig-zagged across the mouth. I can't get them back straight, into the shape that will fit around the mouth. Each time I try to fix it, the blue lines in the wire fitting just go more zig zaggy. Now I have a bear with a zig zag shaped mouth. Not a good look!

I know that technically I should delete my bear and start the whole thing again, but I spent hours doing the eyes of the bear just how I like them, and now he is so cute that I can't bear to delete him. If I delete him and start again, I would never get the eyes back how I have them now, as I can't remember the exact steps I did to get the eyes like that, as it tooks me ages.

How greatly I would appreciate it if someone out there could tell me how to fix the mouth, or how to undo just the mouth bit and do the mouth again. Thanks heaps to everybody, I do really appreciate it a lot :-)

Kind Regards, from Christina in Australia :-)

Ok... It's been fine for 10 months from initial purchase, now suddenly it's freezing. I'm in touch with Support, but frankly I'm a bit confused. They're alluding to "deficient system resources" but I'm not sure why or how or what that can be. My equipment is new and reasonably powerful. IClone operates without a hitch. I tried re-install to no avail. Thanks in advance.
Dave
