Hi Alan,

Just installed the new patch via "Live Update". My Photo-viewers and Video-players now accept and display custom content again.:)

We are aware of the issue and just released a new patch to replace the previous one. Please update to the new v2.1 from live-update or your member page. We apologize for the issue and inconvenience.

I was beginning to think I was on my own with this one.

In addition to the above I have now tried the Insert video channel player. This does allow me to highlight the Custom button and access the media management panel. From this location, however, the "file" option to insert your own video's remains "greyed". Clicking the + button requests a valid "You Tube" location and appears to be the only source option. Is this limitation the correct behaviour for v2.1 ? My videos are not hosted by You Tube.

I'm still confused as to whether my updated v2.1 installation is functioning correctly. I don't seem to be able to use the photo or video players to access any custom content from my web locations or hard drive. Am I limited to the one Video player and Image viewer in the Flash component section of the library to display multi-content ? Is the only alternative the single insert image and Insert FLV from the top row icons in the Edit screen ?

Help or clarification anyone?

I`ve just updated Widgetcast Pro to version 2.1 and am experiencing a problem with the Photoviewers.

If I insert one into a new project I can't select the custom button to insert my own images. The drop down select menu in the property panel only allows a "Custom image" choice but the "Tag" button remains permanently highlighted and the Custom button "greyed":ermm:

Strangely I have a previous project saved from the earlier version which uses a Photoviewer and this still allows me to edit the images by selecting the custom button and opening the create url list.

It is a little while since I used Widgetcast so perhaps I`m making a user error or maybe there's a bug in the update which is causing this Lost Picture Show ?

Anyone experiencing a similar situation?
