That's the part that burns, "soon" and "possible" are not two words that have a lot of meaning for me when put in the same sentence like that right now. Granted it's always possible that things will change for the better but it's not looking good.

I'll keep that url where I can find it but if upgrading to CrazyTalk 5 Pro is out of my league right now then certainly upgrading my hardware enough to run CrazyTalk 6 is flatly out of the question. By the time I have $ for hardware like that it will be considered obsolete and good only for kids to play old games on.

I understand wanting to keep up with state of the art technology but I also think you're cutting out a whole raft of potential customers by raising the hardware bar as high as Crazytalk 6 has placed it.

As it is, give it six months and I would not be surprised to see cracks and keygens for Crazytalk 5 Pro on torrent sites. and no, I'm not threatening to use a cracked copy, just predicting where your next loss of potential income will originate from.

I like the Crazytalk software, I really do. It is the only thing of it's kind that I have ever heard of besides Fix8 which I tried and trashed because it couldn't detect my webcam and there was zero tech support. I think it's a shame to see perfectly good working software shelved simply because there's a newer version out when there's a LOT of people that, like me, simply CANNOT run the new stuff.

3 and 4 gigahertz quad core machines with 4gb of memory are bloodyfarking expensive and that's not likely to change anytime soon.

A few months ago I got CrazyTalk 5 standard edition and it's proved both entertaining and useful. My original plan was to at some point upgrade to CrazyTalk 5 Pro but now that version 6 is available I'm wondering if that will still be possible in ??? months when I can do so.

Because my hardware is not capable of running CrazyTalk6 (I tried the demo version, it took ** 20 ** minutes just to start!) because I have to work within the limits of a single core Amd Sempron 2400+. This means that If I *DO* manage to become able to upgrade to pro, it's gonna have to be 5 Pro, not 6.

Will this still be possible? I've noticed that the reallusion site has already had almost all mention of Crazytalk 5 removed from it.
