I hope this is the right place for this question. (Sorry I'm a newbie here). I've tried uploading an entry today, but when I hit enter I get a message about site maintenance. Is there any way to tell if the entry has gone through? is there another message I should be getting? I don't want to keep trying if they are in fact working :)

About the video spec in this competition..."2-10 mins" is the suggested length.
The small difference in length is okay and acceptable for sure.
Here are two solutions for your request.

First, resend your video in the complete length (14 mins) to the theater.
In this case, YouTube might not be the suggested server to host your video (since the maximum is 10 mins).

Second, mark the two videos with the same code/title and divide it into "Part1 & Part2".
In this case, the theater will receive two of your videos. But you need to provide one video download link for your complete movie.

I hope this info helps clarify your concern.

To me it would seem that with a 10 minute max limit, your movie would have to be judged as two individual entries. Hopefully Jason will reply later today to confirm.

You can use Viddler to host your video's. 500MB with no time/length restrictions.

If you have registered the EX version of iClone3 then you will still have access to your account.

Check in the Bonus & Upgrade section as described above and see if the link is there. If it isn't then sadly its not currently available to EX users.

Let me say: The contest management SHOULD allow any entry to extend beyond the 10 minutes limit. My guess is the restriction is based on the YouTube 10 minute limit limit.

I bet aknzrdude video IS OUTSTANDING and I would not think he would have to limit his creativity or cut down a master piece!

So I ask Contest Manager to be flexible and allow entries longer than 10 minutes to be broken in chapters, not longer than 10 minutes.

Of course my offer to host ANY length videos is standing up! Any participant wanting to exhibit his video in an integral form, can count on my offer. Just send me the video in AVI mpg4 or WMV format and I will send back a link where you can either embed the video or watch it!

Hey Pete and RL, it is looking like my entry will be >10 minutes long - can i break them up nito 2 parts? Will that count as 1 entry or two entries?

Hi,

As long as you have registered your copy of iClone3, just do the following:

Find your entry for iClone3 in the Registration & Upgrade tab.

Click Bonus & Upgrade for iClone3.

Then click the link for War & Peace Bonus - Sound Effects. (see image below)

Hello everyone

can anybody help me, I'm trying to find the free audio pack for the War and Peace filmmaking comp.

On the War and Peace website it states that "If you are a registered Reallusion member then you can login to your member page to access the free download directly."

I cannot find it on the site, can anybody help me to the the correct page?
