Using iClone to develop corporate training?

Can someone please help me? I'm really interested in purchasing this product. I have to sell this idea to my boss who will approve the expense. I've searched and I can't find examples of Corporations that have used iClone to create training material.

I will not get this approved if i show video examples of wizards or other 'non-people' characters. I need to show something that would be similiar to Sales Discussions of new products, HR type training, Product Demo's, Product Commercial, etc..

Can someone please provide me some links that I can share with my management as demonstrations of what we will be able to create with this product. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Backstage won't let me buy elements to update an avatar

I got a dozen avatars to work on from another designer. Some were ready to work on. Some needed me to "Buy Now" and get the needed elements. And two of these wouldn't allow me to access Backstage to get the needed elements. Error message "Failed to add selected item(s) to your cart. I even tried another computer - dame result. Please contact Reallusion tech support". Still waiting so thought I'd ask here. What's the problem?

Time treatments on video

What's the solution for altering the timing of animated sequences output to video? Suppose I have a motion where I want to slow down one part, and speed up another part? Do I need something expensive and complex like After Effects?

Also, suppose there is some jitter in an imperfect animation. Can a camera-shake filter help in reducing it?

Dealing with exterior noise

Hi:

I guess this have little options when dealing with low low budget and lack of adequate facilities. I live at rural area, despite being rural my neighbors and I myself have dogs. Almost always there is a dog barking.

I have a project which requires filming inside house and my questions is how I can deal with that noise. Should I film, and later record voice or add voice over video? Actors will have to talk what the story tells to a least facilitate the lipsynch later, I guess.

I don't have budget to make a recording room, maybe I can try to record the voices at office or other place.

Convert MP4 to SWF get junk at bottom of movie

Hi everyone.

We're trying to put a small avatar on a website, and are doing the following process:

- Output the avatar on the Media tab as an MP4.
- Convert the MP4 to SWF using Xilisoft Media Converter
- Import the SWF to the webpage

The problem is, when I export the MP4 from CrazyTalk v6.1, if I open the mp4 file, I see a little bit of garbage at the bottom of the file ... just random pixels that change color... about 5 or 6 pixels high, and a solid band across the bottom of the MP4.

I've tried exporting it as an AVI. It looks fine if it's run as an AVI, but as soon as it's converted to a SWF, the band appears at the bottom.

Has anyone else run into this? It happens on multiple computers.

a crash, no boot, no video input

was working on iclone last night when bam screen goes black. Rebooted - i can hear the HDD working, but on my monitor it says "No Video Input" - i hear the windows chime turn on, my keyboard caps lock can be toggled but no display - rebooting did not work, same as above

now i had a similar encounter before with win 7- but fixed that through a graphics driver upgrade
but at that time i was able to intercept the post to get into safe boot not this time

i've reseated ram, components, tried video card on another pc - worked - tried monitor with another pc - worked
disconnected all power except for boot drive, video and normal motherboard connectors

reset cmos, remove battery,

same effect- i know it is booting, ram test with mobo elicits the right number of beeps
scoured the web for answers, it turns out this seems to be a common problem but no common solution -
only thing i haven't tried is replacing ram

so posting it here in case some of ya might have an idea or two to check out

my system core i7-920, 6GB RAM, ATI4850, Win 7 64 home premium

Subtitles

Is there a way to add subtitles to the spoken content that's been entered into the Script window? For example, not all my folks have computer speakers, so I want them to be able to at least see the text that the avatar is speaking.

Hi,

The recent change to the Premium Members page has seemingly caused some confusion. To access the upgrade options and bonus content you need to do the following:

Once you login to your Premium Members page you will see a screen like this.

On the left side of the screen will be the options as seen below. Select Registered Programs.

Then Select iClone (or Crazytalk etc).

You will then see the Registered Products list like the picture below.

From here click on Bonus & Upgrade (Details is no longer shown above) to display the Product Information which includes, extra download links, upgrade offers etc.

Remember the screens you see may not be exactly the same as above because they vary from member to member but access to your Registered Programs is still found the same way.

I hope this makes things a little clearer. :)

popVideo problem

i know im probably doing everything wrong, but can someone help me with the best settings for preparing video for popVideo? heres my problem... for some reason when i export out out iclone the video gets off sync with the audio. i do my vids at 16bit/ 48kHz in premiere, i've tried elements 7, cs4, and pro 1.5, the video is 720/480 standard, you know, 29.97 frames a sec, and so on. the green screen is great, no problems when its brought into popVideo, or into iclone, but after export from iclone and then view in media player, or other media players, the audio sounds fine but the video seems to slow. is it because popVideo is set at 16/44?

I need to buy a laptop and i would like some opinion of the most experienced users, reallusion staff or moderators on wich kind of computer to get. Can you help me? I know buying a good desktop would be better...but i´m out of my house most of the time and i would really like to have iclone working the best possible on a laptop. I needed to know what kind of video card should i go for, the processor...etc. If you have a brand and a model you believe is better, please say it also. Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW if there's a possibility, could someone show me a screenshot of what it would look like rendered with the 4670/4770?

Exporting head from 3DS Max.

I have installed the plugins necessary to export from 3DS Max. I am on iClone4 Pro. When I export from 3DS Max 9 I choose iClone3 and put in the name of the file. I then save it and it gives me the choice of which format. I choose Head Morph and export it. But I've discovered that it saves it as a vns file rather than an iFace card.

I must create a contact module, for a site, a little particular: the site propose services that are assigned to professionals chosen by the site administrator.
It would have to work this way: the customer write on a site and an email arrive to the administrator; he decides which professional assign the work to ( and send him the contact).
From that moment the professional and customer comunicates only by the site and on the site must stay the archive of the emails
that they exchange (visible to the administrator).
What I would like is that the professional and the customer comunicate only by the mail to the site, no need to use username and password: it must be the site that manages coded mailboxes that are assigned to them but they don't have to be in contact in others ways and don't have to ask anything else to the customer.
Does anyone of you know if there is a cms or script already ready or similar to this that I can modifiy?

Sorry my english, I put this note for not happend other people what happend me, I do not know that Reallilusion sold producto of video from these Company Juice and I was in the web of Juice I see a CD´s with videos with canal alpha at 19,90 dolar each, well I buy online for 39.00 and I see that it dont was for download was to send fisical and after payd onlyafter the ask me in what way I want recived the CD´s one way cost 44.00 dolar and the other cost 44.00 dolar so I payd agains the 44.00 dolars ok I know that when a think comeing from out of European Comunity you must payd the iva well when the CD´s arrived the fdex send to me with a cost of 100.00 Euros, I ask why so mutch the normal is 20% of the value of invoice it maind the invoice 39.00 dolar and the aswer is the Fedex get 44.00 €
It is for any other that buy think before or ask what is the real value at the end.
