They've excelled  at using artificial intelligence to smoothly handle character interaction (like game characters) with objects and with each other but the characters are quite robotic and customizing them is very tough and beyond the average user. Their tools for cinematic productions is half full.  This is probably iClone's weakest machinima feature.  There's lots of glamour and glitz with more coming in version 3 but substantive tools to build story lines not constrained by software functionality  just isn't there and it frustrates.  I don't want to build one man/woman music videos. I have to go through countless hoops and tricks to make the characters understand that they're not the only bucket of bytes on the screen and I have to micro manage every move and expression and word.  Even a little collision detection with their own body or other objects would help! Without this option, I am duplicating the accessories that I already have on file when saved with the character. This has the potential of tripling the size of VNS files stored concerning the accessories; One in Accessories, One stored with the character, and one stored in the project file. Imagine how many are saved when multiple characters use the same accessory in a single project!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Saving accessories with the Project file is understandable, but not always necessary when the character is saved separately. Multiple characters would be a storage nightmare eventually if you use multiple characters in a project that utilize the same accessories (e.g. Knights using the same armor and comprised of 20 using the same accessory(ies).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Perhaps a dynamic linking to the accessories folder for the accessories used in a project would be possible.
