Has anyone else encountered that?
I am not sure if it is a direct consequence, but the FBX export of my character after I have applied the duf file is very very long (30 minutes almost), when it should take much shorter, as shown in the tutorial video. As a result, when I try to open it with 3DXchange, it crashes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Change the FPS from 30 to 1 (right lower corner of DAZ) Next timekiller is "Smoothing enable" Parameter (Mesh Resolution) ... if you use Clothes for Genesis. Turn this to off. Robert

These advices sound good. I'll try that.

It worked... but only for making the export be faster. Thanks a lot for that!
But now, even with this help, 3DXchange still crashes when trying to load the fbx created. I can load other FBX-based characters from DAZ, but the ones to which I have applied the FaceKey file will crash. It does crash a second after I select the FBX file that I want.
Not sure if you still can help on this, still asking

Actually, solved this by deselecting the "SubD information" box while exporting the FBX character. Not sure if it has an impact later on, but at least it allowed me to load the character correctly in 3DXchange and go on with the tutorial.
Thanks again for the help

Mr. Lagel you are a lifesaver! I had been having the same problem and messed around with this for hours last night. Your solution to deselect subd worked for me too! Thanks, ML
