check it out!
It looks like you can change cameras on the fly. I wish they showed how they did it using the interface.

Hi,

Using Director Mode in iClone 3 you can record your scene in real time, moving your character with the W, A, S, D keys. Then when you play it back you can change the camera angles as you please and they will be saved as well. It's simple but very powerful.

Is it possible to use:

- a variation of WASD keys such as ESDF and IJKL for QWERTY keyboard (or assign my own shorcuts key) for control the character's movement, because AZERTY users used to use the "ZQSD" combination instead of WASD keys in video game!

-a graphic pen or better joysticks for character's movement?

-the same process simultaneously for two characters

In addition to the W, A, S, D keys you can use the arrow keys or even mouse click on the ground to make your actor walk to the desired location. Hotkeys can be changed though.

You can't move two characters at once with the keys but after you record one you can wind back, switch to the next and move that one and so on.

Full information on all the new features will begin next week. Stay tuned.

Now that is a cool new feature! How often have I just wanted to drag and drop my characters around on the screen - this will make motion much smoothers, maybe my characters will quit being so herky-jerky in my vids! Way cool
