One feature that would be very handy is current document or file name be visable somewhere.

Our current project has 50 odd iclone files with different variations of movement and interaction between people. I forget which file I have open after an hour of editing. Currently there is no way to know which file i have open.

that would be most helpful.

Hi, info

Your request really makes sense......
They should allow "Save the project" and easier access to the thumbnial you are working on.

Maybe you can use the "Modify time" to verify first...let's see if they can fix the problem in the next version.

Thanks
Visconti

HI reallusion,

Is there any chance for you guys to add specular mapping? I know you can control specular strengh using exchange 2 but it would be great if we could control where those specular hits are.

thanks

No news on improvements to the BVH Converter yet in iClone 3.0. Should know more very soon.

hi RL,
any chance your engine can support light mapping? I believe this would add the realism IC needs to take it to the next level. Dont you?

Last Minute iClone 3 Features

A puppeeteering option to manipulate, record and layer character/object motions in real-time using a mouse or stylus like in Crazy Talk 5.

When rendering out a scene I suggest an auto-smooth/ subdivision option be available to increase/decrease details of individual objects or the entire scene, like in 3Dxchange.

The ability to
import PNG. textures files

Simple transform commands like bend taper and twist for primitives
