Hello, Was wondering if it was possible to use Crazy Talk with figures that are moving in an animation or it only for still images. I want to use it to lip sync animated characters faces as they walk.
I could animate the face in a green screen still capture of the face only and then motion track the face to the character in After Effects but I saw a demo movie on your site that showed lip sync in an animation (The Binary Picture Show) and thought maybe there was a built in way to do it. Thank

Record Crazy Talk face with chroma key background (either pre Crazy Talk import via Photoshop or mask it n Crazy Talk). Export as .avi into After Effects. Key out the chroma key. Add video "body" layer and size the imported face to liking. Motion track the "body" layer face and attach it to the Crazy Talk face. Set Crazy talk layers anchor point to correspond with the "body" layer position tracking point. If there is any rotation of the face in the body layer you will need to also motion track rotation as well.
It's actually quite easy and with Crazy Talks great results I may never need to manually key frame mouth shapes again.
