It is often thought that since I'm a woman AND not a spring chicken, I don't undertsand computers - no offense taken here, but this old Queen of DOS actually can figure things out once in a while. I am quite familiar with the registry - are you saying, then, that once I build my preferred physical directory, I can make the change in my registry - at how many points does Reallusion plant directory information throughout the registry? I could do a search, I suppose but your input would be nice here (of course, I'll back it up first) Also, it's not the purchased content that's troubling me, my custom projects and use of importing tons of Google warehouse accessories and props (via 3dexchange) are taxing my local drive. I'd hate to wait for my iclone 3 purchase. I look forward to your suggestion

| Hi, The answer I gave about the registry would have been the same for everyone regardless of sex or age so please don't think my comments were because you are a woman. That is certainly not the case. I just have no way of knowing the level of experience of forum members. I also don't think it would be responsible of me to write here how to edit the registry as this could lead to others less experienced trying it and possibly making their computers unusable. It really is a case of if someone is experienced in registry editing enough to make the changes then they will know how to do it already without me telling them. Plus there are a lot of tutorials available on registry editing available on the net so I would advise a search on Google etc if you want to find out more on the subject. But remember anything you attempt is done at your own risk. Things can and do go wrong so be careful. Pete

Hi. Just for the record I recently installed Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 without installing iClone SE. There did not seem to be any point in installing the SE version as I already have iClone version 2.5. This was easily achieved using a custom install. Maybe there are two or more versions of the installation setup. i.e. a change in the Magix marketing strategy.

Another update - since having so many computer problems lately and adding an second internal harddrive (in anticipation of the primary to fail) - I reinstalled iclone to this new secondary drive and made sure all the templates (custom or otherwise) also went to my new "D" drive - this has lifted the burden on my local (C) drive - so far, so good
