| I select the Jack Clone Casual template (with all the guidance lines and whatnot) and go to luanch the diffuse map editor and it says "This is not a valid iClone Project file! Failed to load project". This happens after I select "no" to the "do you wish to save" message. I've tried choosing yes, and opening a different editor (such as the opacy editor) and get the same result. What is the problem?

It sounds as though you have the iClone.exe file selected as your image editor instead of an image editor executable? When you click the Preferences button (the hammer icon) you will see that you have a line for selecting your image editor with which you wish to edit the diffuse and opacity textures etc. Here you have to select the .EXE of whatever your chosen image editor is. If you look at the example image below you will see that Photoshop.exe has been chosen as the program to edit the textures. You need to setup your image editor in this section so that it correctly opens your textures ready to edit.

| Oh... I wateched a tutorial that showed someone making clothing with Clone Cloth. I thought Clone Cloth was some sort of built in editor that made it easier.

| Hi, CloneCloth is a double mesh system used to create clothing for your iClone characters. By editing the diffuse and opacity maps of the outer mesh (the clothing) you can create many different styles and outfits. To do this you will need to edit the textures in an Image Editor. It is not as complicated as you might think at first. Once you have an image editor set up in preferences you are half way there. Just follow some of thre tutorials and I'm sure it will all become clear soon. CloneCloth Tutorials Good luck. Pete
