Hi guys,

I've imported a pair of glasses from 3D warehouse of Sketchup. I've changed some things and then imported it to 3DXchange. All is well. The new pair of glasses appears into 3DX.

But when I exported the file to iClone, it really appears into iClone, but hoizontally. In SketchUp and 3DX it was vertically, the same way you wear a pair of glasses. Of course I can adjust all of it in 3DX, that's not the problem. Am I doing something wrong anyway?

Further I had a lot of trouble to get the pair of glasses on the right place of my character. I succeed, but I have to make a lot of adjustments in 3DX.

When I put a pair of glasses in iClone itself on my character, it immediately came on the right place on his head. With the pair of glasses imported from 3DX it didn't.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi,

All you really need to do is once you get the glasses accessory positioned correctly on your iClone character, just save it within iClone again and it will load in the correct position from then on.

You will almost always need to make some size or positioning adjustment in 3DXchange and iClone when you import a prop or accessory but once you save it in iClone you will then have it perfectly positioned everytime.
