Hi

I am having trouble with my lighting.

I wish to start my video in near blackout and turning to full brightness as if somebody has turned the lights on.

It is a hip hop video, with an introduction at the begining (hence the blackness)

I have tried to edit the keys as I do for my camera but when I edit a key they all change?

I always click the edit key before changing the lighting keys but they always all change.

Please help.

While I am at it, my lip sync seems to have a mind of it's own, the sync is all out of time and nothing like the vocal.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Thank You

If your lip sync is out then it may be because you are using the original music track. This will respond to evrything not just the vocals. The original track should be applied to "music" animation and a new track as below should be character animation.

The way to do this is to make a seperate track where you speak the words - singing might work if it's rap or similar - and upload that vocal track to character. Once you have rendered your anim to avi remove the vocal track you just made in editing and use the original music track. Providing you did your vocal track in sync it will be in sync with the finished vid.

I did this with this vid:

Gary,

A simple Light Switch - Done using the timeline and the animated light set to "Edit". May not be exactly on the timing you need, but it will give you something to work with. Just open the timeline and make it match your scene requirements by moving the markers. Put it in your custom lights folder and use it just like the stock default lights that are provided with iClone.
