Is it possible to mix and match tops and bottoms from different design templates without suffering from gaps or clashes ?

Yes, you can Mix and Match but you may not like the results.

Two samples: Jack/Jane May/Jane Xor/Moe - UPPER/Lower Mixes

Each Character has a specific Mesh for it's body Style, so mixing and Matching will definitely give some odd results.

Thanks for showing those illustrations, Cricky.

I can't remember exactly which combination of garments I'd put together last night that gave me my wildest, most undisguisable "Attack of the Black Triangles" but it must have been a disagreeable meeting between the Jack Casual Clone Cloth and one of the lowers that isn't intended for his body-type.

I'd like to know if instances of layers of clothing pushing and passing impossibly through each other would also be evident if you tried to mix and match uppers and lowers aimed at ONE mesh....that is : Can ANY Jack Upper be combined with ANY Jack Lower and can any Jane Upper be combined with ANY Jane Lower from the Clone Cloth Volume 1 Pack - without the result being a mess ?

Does the footwear WORK ? I'm wondering about Boots.... because different styles would call to be either OVER or UNDER the trouser...

The examples that Cricky has shown are of the more extreme cases of bad mix and matching. Out of the 9 G2 characters Moe and May do not mix well with any of the other 7 but pretty good results can be achieved with the rest, even the junior character.

You will get cases where boots show through tight fitting jeans etc and a top won't quite meet the lower garment but overall I have been very pleased with the results of Mixing and Matching outfits.

It really is a case of trial and error to see what works and what doesn't but I think you may be surprised at how well they do.

You cought my attention when you mentioned Moe, May, and the Junior character in your reply. I thought that these characters are only part of the natural human base pack. I bought the natural human base pack where these characters are included but no clonecloth exists to date for them.

How are you able to get them clothed?

I have been trying to create a realistic scene for my niece ( a 6 year old) but combining Jane clonecloth upper body results with a girl child with breasts and combining jack clonecloth upper body results with a girl child with an adult male chest.

So how were you able to get Moe, May, or Junior clothed? I'm specifically interested in how I can get the natural human base junior character fully clothed to create a movie scene with the Horse Tack Theme I purchased.

Hi,

Create your Uppers and Lowere on Jack or Jane clone cloth, save.....and then add these to the human base character you require.
