I'm not a fan of Win8, but I'm far from being a hater. I have an Asus "transformer" tablet (with a keyboard+battery base it can attach to) and don't mind some of the touch features, but I haven't really adapted to the "touch" paradigm yet. I miss my right-click. Also, I think their attempt to make one UI for different devices was a big mistake.
I admit I'm cautiously optimistic about Windows 10. Most of what I'm reading (from technical reviewers) is generally positive and it sounds like they're fixing most of the UI complaints.
