Since Heidi and Mason are non-standard characters, as far as I can see they can't be used as starting points for creating one's own avatars within iClone 6. Is this going to change in the future? Or will Chuck and Gwynn be necessary if we want to transplant faces etc. Or must one buy yet another plugin?

One curious detail with Heidi is that in the Avatar Proportion window you cannot change the size of her breasts. Reallusion humor? Sexist?

There will be a more DAZ-like character editor in iClone 6.1. Peter said there is a tentative release date of mid-April for that. Heidi and Mason are the base meshes that it will use. So were getting a little preview for now.

The G5's are still quite nice, and fully functional.

Thanks. Is there also a simple explanation why breasts can't be re-proportioned for Mason and Heidi when all the other body parts can be?

I think the breasts will be based on morphs instead of bones. The editor in it's current state alters the bones. Being the base-meshes of the new morph-based system being developed, there may not be any breast bones to adjust.
