Can emitted particles collide or bounce off?
examples:
-A shower of sparks in a small room bouncing off walls.
-Particle flames hitting an object.
-An character deflecting smoke or energy beams.

If it has been done I'd like to see what others have tried.

I don't think there's any more control you can get with the native particles in Iclone yet.
You can probably use the soft and hard dynamics on real geometry to simulate particle interaction like in other appz. Heavy using real mesh but its probably the only way for now. I have a feature request for more particle and dynamics, forces, interaction somewhere, too.

There's real particle wizards here, which I'm not, but one option is to attach your emitter to a dummy object. That might allow you to do some nice physics tricks.

I remember  that years ago somebody simulated growing ivy with long-living particles and an emitter attached to a dummy (something like that).

I think...that was a JasonBrown discovery if my feeble memory serves Job. Now the particles weren't bouncing off stuff but they were staying put as I rememberSmile Very cool though Wink
