1. An actor is removed from the original backgound and imported into CT7
2. Two white side-bars appear on the side of the actor, they seem to be added automatically
3. Is it possible to have the actor without the side bars?
4. The reason is that, by so doing, it would be possible to re-import the original background and have the actor animated without the background moving with him
5. In the current set up when importing the background the white bars remain.
Thank you

Make sure that your source character image is the correct resolution to match the background.

For example if you extract a character from a photo and crop the character image it will no longer match the background of the original. So if the original image is say 1024 x 768 (4:3), then make sure that the actor you extract is also a 4:3 image when you load it into CT7. Then the background and actor will match perfectly.

Also do remember to have your source image in the same aspect ratio that you plan to export to video. If your source image is 4:3 but you plan to export to a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, then you will again get bars on the side.
