Can you upgrade the CTA 2 to the pipeline version and what are the advantages, if any
do you get the 3D exchange software with the pipeline version.

Hi Tom,

Please see the version comparison below. This shows the different features available in each version. The main additions in Pipeline over Pro is that you have templates for creating characters externally in Adobe Flash and DrawPlus, plus you can use motion files designed for iClone. This latter feature does open up a huge library of animations for your CTA2 characters.

Hi Tom,

Actually you can't upgrade - but you can buy a new (second) product for a reduced member price. Afterwards you have paid for two full products.

Meaning: If you are currently using CTA2 standard, and that was your first Reallusion product, you can take the member price as a kind of upgrade price. A good price actually, as you get it cheaper than buying Pipeline directly!

CTA2 Standard list price: $49.95
CTA2 Pipeline list price: $299.95 / member price $179.95

CTA2 Standard list price ($49.95) + CTA2 Pipeline member price ($179.95) = $229.90 = saving $70.05

But if you are an old customer, and "upgraded" from eg CTA1 to CTA2 Standard, and now "upgrading" to CTA2 Pipeline, the money spent on Standard is wasted (unless you bought it less than 30 days ago and can get a refund).
