Julia(?),
First - WELCOME to the world of Realluison.
Second - I understand your pain and frustration. If you've never done anything like this before, getting started can be quite a daunting task.
As you pointed out, there is a whole new "language" to learn. Some of it may be unique to CrazyTalk, but a lot of it is "industry jargon" and you'll find it in competitor's products too.
A lot of this would be a lot easier to learn if you could physically sit down with an knowledgable user, side-by-side.
It might be painful, but find a "beginners" tutorial and slowly, step-by-step, follow each step on your computer. Once you get through a couple of tutorials, hopefully you'll start to "understand" the software.
As Colour suggested, head over to the CrazyTalk section and start a "Help me get started!!" thread. I'm an iClone user, but I'm sure the CrazyTalk people will be gentle, patient, and helpful just like the iClone people are.
