I'm looking at the "Indie pack" that's still listed at $200. The indie licenses seem proper for what most of us here would be doing, if I read it correctly.
I'm having fun with the trial version of Substance Painter, and Bitmap2Material seems very useful.
I don't know how much I'll use Substance Designer (the most expensive and complex item in the pack), but just like Animagic is taking a leap on the Indigo renderer, I might leap on this. Maybe my son who does Blender will be good at it. Since iC6 uses "substances"... who knows?
