I'm looking at the "Indie pack" that's still listed at $200.  The indie licenses seem proper for what most of us here would be doing, if I read it correctly.

I'm having fun with the trial version of Substance Painter, and Bitmap2Material seems very useful.

I don't know how much I'll use Substance Designer (the most expensive and complex item in the pack), but just like Animagic is taking a leap on the Indigo renderer, I might leap on this.  Maybe my son who does Blender will be good at it.  Since iC6 uses "substances"... who knows?

I leaped on RL's B2M 2 Pro sale last summer for $99 and last week leaped on both Painter & Designer Indie for an additional $99. $200 total for one Pro and two Indie, a day later B2M 3 is released... dang! From what I understand of the tutorials on the net though Designer is the only one out of the three that allow you to make tweakable sliders for Substances which is what it looks like iC6 relies on, so it may come in handy, if not for iClone, for plenty other engines I can create Substance outputs for.
