I open a program, like CTA2 and the notification tells me there are updates for both CTA2 and CT.
I choose to proceed with the updates. It then begins but after a few seconds an error pops up telling me that the "Live Update Main Program has stopped working" and that a problem has caused it to stop working and windows will notify me if it finds a solution. Of course, I haven't been notified.

This has gone on for a few months, maybe more.

Does anyone now how to solve this?

I too get the same message, also get an error message after I close the program. Hopefully there will be a fix in the update

This problem was reported some time ago. RL posted that it had been fixed, but maybe the sticking plaster has fallen off. w00tTongue

I'm quite sure that our fearless moderator, Lord Edwards of Illusion, will look into this after drinking his afternoon tea. SmileWinkHehe

Probably easier to go to your Reallusion A/C Page / Product History / Bonus & Upgrade & Download the latest Update from there & "Save As", to your Desktop & Run the Setup EXE File from there.

There is an updated version, which Peter mentions in that thread. PM him and he will send you the link (I hope this won't result in thousands of requests...Unsure )

The new version doesn't crash, but in my case it doesn't seem to notify that there are updates. The notification is handy, because you may not always be aware of a new update.

But, as Color points out, you can also find updates on your membership page.
