I can see why you like them - you have created stunning stills there which look just like professional illustrations

@Armstrong: you can make the bow disappear by setting the opacity of its texture to 0. But ut would be better if it were a separate prop. I looked in 3DXchange and it actually is separate, but it's part of the avatar's heirarchy and there seems no way to remove it.

The characters as they come are categorized as non-human, which means only the preset motions will work. Using 3DXchange and the provided FBX file it is possible to convert them into non-standard characters. You will then be able to use any iClone motions. By using the expression editor in 3DXchange you can add rudimentary facial animation capabilities including lipsynching. I have a clip that I will upload that shows the result. But now it's way past my bedtime. OK, just a still then: She speaks Elvish, obviously.

Hi iFoin, Yes the work is stunning. There are limitations of course, but in general even as far as Promotional stills and Posters in a theme goes, these characters and more you have on offer are very outstanding. I havent included my Lil Flying Dragon yet but may today. Thankyou very much for the edited Avatar w. seperate Bow which I shgall pick up in my email I presume later when I ma back at homebase today. . I do not have the time or finance to be a jack of all trades, so modelling I leave to the professionals at this level and I'll put them on stage. How do the Princesses Heels fare? I can always hide them with cleven camera angles and have her walk through grasses if needs be. Animagic, hi also. Thankyou for your input. Are you saying you've edited this / these characters so that standard iClone animation works with them? Thats a very exciting prospect. Or are you suggesting to iFoin that this is possible and how? I dont have 3dXxchange. Scary $$$$$ on current budgets. I looked to find the Bow as a heirarchical element but could not as my idea was to transparentise it also and then make a similar bow fashioned form iClone primitives. Buttime isnt on my side. So, pleasant that iFoin has edited the work to make it seperate.
Many thanks again. Your work and time in this field are more appreciated than you could ever know.
My next task today... HTML5 full wide-screen Site creation w. some hi-res images which inevitably tie into documantary animation. Impact is the name of the game alsways, and variety. So, my progress may be slow, but at least its progress and I have a 2400 year old Chinese Garden to display so it needs a good pedestal.
Any HTML5 pro's looking in??? ..... as Windows and Mac / iPhone both discontinued use of Flash, a field within which I am highly qualiified but effectivley is now obsolete. Gratefully yours... Armstrong.

Armstong, I did indeed import the FBX version of the Royal Archer into 3DXchange. It adhered to one of the built-in conversion profiles (3DSMax biped), which conversion simple. I then mapped the facial bones (which is now possible in 3DXchange), which allowed me to set facial expressions and visemes in the Expression editor. I then imported the character into iClone. So this is something that 3DFoin could consider to make the characters more versatile. It would be great if a few more bones were added so the shape of the mouth could be changed (open/close; narrow/wide). Right now you have to use the jaw, which isn't ideal for lip-synching. This should be fairly easy change, I think. Here is the clip I promised: Now I need to get my wife some lunch... As to your other question: Look under Skin and use the eye dropper to select the bow texture. You can then set the Opacity to 0.

But that's really good. I'm very impressed. The jaw seems to drop when she speaks rather than hinge but I guess if she's improved it wouldn't look so odd. But for all intents and purposes she speaks. Very interesting.

Nice indeed. Shame that the princess still doesn't talk because she really ought to. Visually she's very powerful and striking and the colour scheme works well. The high heels date it badly, but someone could take those off.
I wonder how well she COULD speak if she was edited!!!
Armstrong.
