Hi..
All our main products will allow you to create talking characters. These are iClone5, CrazyTalk Animator and CrazyTalk 7. All three are standalone products.
iClone5 is a 3D animation package and CrazyTalk Animator and CrazyTalk 7 are 2D animation packages. A good way to think of the difference is to consider iClone like viewing a sculpture, where you can view it from all sides, whereas CTA and CT7 are like viewing a painting where you view from one side only.
iClone5 uses 3D models. Characters can be lifelike humans or more cartoon type characters. You can use the included characters and props, or you can purchase additional content packs to increase your library of content. Many free models are also available.

CrazyTalk Animator on the other hand can take a photo or drawing and convert this to a fully animated and talking character. You can also use photos or drawings for props and scenery. A large number of pre-made characters and prop packs are also available to purchase.
As this is a 2D product using images, your characters bodies will not animate as realistically as those in iClone, but if you are looking for a more cartoon like style then CTA will be ideal.

CrazyTalk 7 works like CrazyTalk Animator by using photos or drawings as the source for your projects. Unlike CTA, CrazyTalk7 only animates heads and not bodies. Because of this it is very easy to learn and use, but does include some very powerful new features not present in CTA. The main one being auto motion for your character which is a massive time saver and means your character can be talking and displaying expressions in seconds.
