Colo(u)r Material Adjust Colo(u)r Settings are greyed-out. See Screenshot.

Those Settings only apply to Material Maps.

Anyone know of a way to reduce Brightness & Contrast for Picked colo(u)rs?

TIA Smile

Thinking simply, I will adjust "Diffuse Color"/"Ambient Color"/"Self Illumination" in [Material Settings] again.

As far as I know those settings are only available when the object has a texture. Just checked and it would appear so for Sketchup models, particularly where the model has been coloured rather than UV mapped and texture applied.

Thanks for your confirmation, Bob. Smile

Can't be done. Therefore Colo(u)r Correction is misleading, IMO..

@ tg.linux

Thanks for your Post, too. Smile

Hi Colour (Peter)

Not knowing how the model was made but you could try this and see if it works.

Lets say you colour pick the yellow.

In all 3 channels diffuse etc change them to lets say white or a light grey.

Then go to uv settings If I recall choose option box - z axis to unwrap it and apply that was the best from sketchup I think.

Then create yourself a plain yellow jpg pic.

Double click on the empty diffuse and select the jpeg you created.

Then you will have the option to adjust brightness contrast even hue etc.

Then repeat for your red colour.

Many thanks for that, Linda Kiss

I'll give it a go.

Bad enough having my head spinning, staring at all those rotating Fair Ground Rides 24/7, without having to wear sun glasses as well. Ermm

You can go & open your Easter egg(s), now Wink
