Hi All,

I am trying to run export fbx from 3dxchange to unity, one issue is on the dialog box, I check to include geometry and all, then check to include animations, then from right side dropdown box select Unity, after unity is selected, it automatically uncheck "include animations", when I check to include animations, it automatically switches from Unity to Custom on the right side dropdown box, so I can not have both "include animation" and "Unity", one work around is to export geometry and animations separately, but I like to put them in one fbx file.

My 3dxchange 5 is most recent, since I just bought it last month.

Please help and thanks in advance.

Why do you not tried it to import in Unity , then you will see it works Wink

I of course tried, I only see Geometry, no animations, I have to go back to 3dxchange and uncheck geometry and check animations to export animations, they are in separate files, each animation is in separate file.
I like to have the Geometry and all animations in one file.

try making a taffy ?

basically you add all your motions to one large file - then you can import and truncate that file as needed. I found it necessary actually in my own scenario as Unity seems to make motions even shorter than what is exported from 3DX5, so I couldn't effectively create any loops in iclone that would translate exactly in unity. Not iclones fault though - unity simply autochanges stuff - further unity has some cool tools to truncate and loop quickly anyways - so it was just a change of workflow.

then your vast knowledge of bvh and 3D should have posted here long ago to help the author of the thread, for me, unity autochanged stuff - but i never said it was impossible to fix, in fact i said unity had some nice tools.

All my work tends to go in the input to iClone direction, being just a hobbyest and all.Wink Never had any interest in resource output from iClone.

Not really any help here, sorry.
