Instructions make reference to a plug-in to export directly to Iclone. Does not appear in menu bar though under Export. In fact appears nowhere I can see. Only export see is for obj format. What's up?

If you installed Earth Sculptor and didn't install the plug-in separately then it will not appear.

It is a separate download, possibly waiting in your account.

There is a separate plugin that needs to be installed. If you buy through Reallusion, you should have gotten two download links in your account:

• Download 1 for EarthSculptor 1.11 Setup.exe
• Download 2 for EarthSculptor_Plug-in_iClone.exe

I can't seem to find where to buy the plug-in if you already have earth sculptor and didn't buy it from Reallusion. Is it available by itself and is it really needed?

The plugin is not available separately. It makes things a bit easier, but if you have 3DXchange, you can just export the OBJ file and convert.

It depend how size you want for your terrain. The last iclone release have a heightmap feature
which doesn't need the plugin , you can watch this first tutorial of tree:

larger terrain is possible with the plugin but only with one texture.
