 HI All
I am new to iClone but have been using Poser for quite some time and I have a huuuuuuuuge library of clothing and props in my Poser files.
My question is : Can I import clothing sets from Poser to Iclone using 3DeXchange ? I have Daz Studio which I believe supports 3DX.
What I want to do , specifically , is to create a custom character in iClone ( mostly for the face using a photo ) and then be able to outfit that avatar with clothing and props from my Poser collections. Does that make sense ? Is it possible ?
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks !
Very Happy

Hi,

I'm afraid you won't be able to bring in Poser clothes via 3DXchange and have them conform to the iClone characters like they do in Poser. The imported items will be props only and won't bend or fold when the character moves.

iClone has its own clothing system called CloneCloth which allows an almost unlimited range of outfits to be created plus there are many CloneCloth content packs already available for purchase from the content store.

You can find out a little more about CloneCloth from this page:

Thank you for your response, Peter. Looks like I will have to dig into Clone Cloth and see what I can come up with.

Thanks again
