| | I don't believe so, I had a look at the link you sent. However, you could export from Sketchup Pro as a 3ds or obj and perhaps someone would try the conversion for you. You would need to supply the textures with this too. Shy

| No 3DS Max can't open .SKP files directly. The files need to be exported to 3DS or OBJ first before they can be opened in Max.

| | Dear Shy, Please find my attached file arena. I had created this 3ds and obj from google sketcup following exactly the same instructions mentioned in the tutorials. This file contains all the textures and basically whatever i exported from google sketchup is inside it. If someone cud open this in 3ds exchange and get it to export to iclone. Also, I've attached a image of the arena, they way it looked in the google sketchup. BUT I'm not getting the exact same look in Iclone. Also there are issues with camera, the camera doesn't move 360 fully if i try to use this as a 3d scene.

| | Hi, Here's a quick pic of what I got into iClone, perhaps you can tell me how it compares to yours. There seems to be a problem with the boxes.bmp, I don't have time at the moment but I'll play around with it when I get the chance... unless someone else manages to do it sooner for you. The boxes seperate the blue seating areas.

| | Yep even I had problem with the boxes. But anyways you are getting a better result than mine. Because I wasnt getting the names of 02 which you see at top left corner ans neither I was getting the red cross bars at top of stadium. Morever are you able to rotate the camera fully and smoothly 360 degrees? Did you export it as a 3D scene from 3ds exchange? Anyways can you send the file to me as an attachment. The final VNS 3d scene file to be used in Iclone. I will use your version. Its ok if the boxes are not there. Thanks a lot. |

| | I opened it in Max as the 3ds you gave. I can tell you what the problem with the logos is tho. There is a separate folder inside containing those.....copy and paste them into the same folder as your textures and obj and mtl, that will help some Shy

| | Sending you a link via PM of what I have so far. Maybe with a bit of effort you could add the boxes inside iclone using your editor Shy

| Hi, storiesdialogues
We have tested the model by the following steps... Download .skp > import to SketchUp Pro > Export to .3ds > import 3ds Max
Indeed, the stadium looks not the same as the preview image in Max. This is because the path to the textures is lost, and you have to rearrange them.
And then, if you have Max, you can export it to iClone through Max plug-in or 3DXchange both. Let's see if it can solve your problem.
By the way, Reallusion will release 3DXchange 2.0 before Dec. You can import the models from 3D warehouse directly then. We have comlete solution for SKP files.
Best wishes Visconti
