I have a G5 Chuck-based character whose head I'd like to use for an upgraded CC version. What's the best way to make sure the head is as close as possible to the original? It's not worth doing for me if the head isn't nearly the same, but I'd like to take advantage of the new character features.
Thanks

Image Overlay Utility is what most users use, it's pretty easy to use and there's a free version to download that works fine for most.
Dell XPS 8900, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3408 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s), 16 GB RAM, - 4 GB GeForce GTX 745, NVIDIA compatible. If you would prefer to use image plains within CC, I made this simple accessory for doing so. Just drag it onto your character and load images in the diffuse channel of the material for each plain. You can also reposition the planes as needed. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3nsNVGroEz6aEJtMF95ZVlaY2s

BUT i have no idea what you are talking about ... Could you please explain a bit further what this does/what it's good for?? Maybe with an example (image/video) T.H.A.N.X.

toystorylab: The idea is to use a reference image of the face for use in CC. This will help with getting the shape and proportions right when adjusting morphs. The Overlay Utility is a tool that opens an image with adjustable transparency that you can drag over the model. (It is no longer available I noticed.) Rampa's idea is to do the same with an accessory that contains an image. To get a face with the actual image applied you would need to render that from the original G5 model and then use that to create a head in CrazyTalk 8.
