Hi, I just started playing around with motions. Some of them (for example Heidi's cat walk) work great. As she walks, Heidi is going forward on the floor surface quite naturally. But most motion are statique cycle motions and from most tutorials I have seen, needs to be complete with the transform position to get the caractere moving. This result in a slipping motion that is unreal to my eyes. Does anybody knows If there is a way to apply physics to motions so the walking motions look more natural? If not, what are the other options or alternative applications for real walking cycle animation using 3D exchange? Thank you for your help

The bones of the character cannot have physics applied to them, so no. There are some walks in the MixMoves panel that actually move from one point to another. You could also check the Marketplace. I remember Bigboss made a whole series called "EZ Motions" that moved the character.

I have the "EZ Motions" pack and they work really well. It's a little tricky to use at first because there are a whole lot of them and all in one folder, but once I created folders for the different styles, ie: Walk forward, Turn right, etc., it was much easier to find and use them.
