I am using bootcamp and booting into Windows 10 and running Clone 7.
I am trying to get it to run under parallels 12 ( as I did with ver 6). It shows an error saying try to run the graphics mode in directx9 and points yo a utility to does this. This does not exist ( unlike ver 6 where I could change it).
This used to allow me to play in ver 6 whilst running the Mac then boot to windows to get serious.
Is this possible ?
Cheers

We don't know yet if there will be a DirectX 9 version of iClone 7; it is still in EA. DirectX 11 might be required for PBR and GI and without it there wouldn't be much point for IC7. Are you saying DirectX 11 is not available under bootcamp/parallels?

Actually, it may be better to have this discussion in the IC7 EA thread.

Directx 11 is not available under parallels ( or any of the other products).
As regard just using IC6.
As I said in the post being able to just use Clone 7 to create some animations etc etc whilst still being on a Mac is very useful.
If I need the high end stuff I would have to boot to windows.

It's early days, so a DirectX 9 version may be provided if there is sufficient interest.

This is similar to Windows where you can have DirectX 12 driver support available, but the GPU only supports DX9. What does it say in the DirectX Display tab? Look for "Feature Levels", which will list the actual graphics support of the GPU.
