I really have no idea what is going on, or what I'm doing wrong, but my program does not match the tutorial at all and I'm completely stuck. While I've been using various animation, video, 3d, etc software for a very long time, I'm brand new to this program.
I'm simply trying to create a new character. In the tutorial it tells me to hit "S" or press the edit sprite button to the left. The problem is there is no button and "S" does nothing. If I'm in stage mode there is a button for the sprite editor and it can be pulled up, but in composer mode there is only a button to go back and one for "edit mask". I've looked around and watched several other tutorials and everything is just telling me to push buttons that aren't there.
Before anyone asks; yes, I'm using CrazyTalk Animator 3 and I am not watching tutorials for CrazyTalk Animator 1 or 2.
Does anyone have any ideas at all?

Can you provide some screen shots of what's happening? Sometimes others will see something you missed or not doing correctly.

I'm using the standard version. Here is a screenshot of the composer. Notice there are no buttons other than the "edit mask" button on the left, even with the bone selected.

I'm using the standard version I had already guessed that is the reason . I'm simply trying to create a new character. r. In the standard, this function is not Intended Check the comparsion list . https://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk-animator/download.html#comparison

Wait...so I just paid $70 for a program that I can't animate my own characters with? I'm wrong about that, right?

Yes, I certainly should have looked closer. I never would have imagined any tier would make it impossible to create your own characters for animating. The demo was impressive, but I'm not sure if it's worth another $109 to me for an upgrade with the other programs I have. I guess I got a little carried away with excitement.
