Greetings,

I have both CT7 and now CT8.  I have reinstalled my CT7 Content into CT8, yet the folder structure inside CT8 does not match the folder structure on the drive. Additionally, there is nothing in any of the folders inside CT8.  I have no Animation or other choices.  I have uninstalled and re installed.  Still no joy.  See the screenshots.

Just took another look, at one of your screen caps, it looks like you have another Auto Animation within the Auto Animation folder(if I'm looking at this correctly).   When you uninstall the program, the template folder  is not deleted. You can try following this path:  Windows explorer - C drive - Users - Public - Public Documents - Reallusion - Template - CrazyTalk 8 Template - Auto Motion 3D - 01_Functional_ .  Then open anyone of the folders.  The files "should" be there. If they are not, you could uninstall the program, manually delete the CrazyTalk 8 template, then reinstall using the default settings.

Thanks for responding...  as I stated in the OP, I uninstalled it already and I did delete the public>template>      folders.  My problem is the files ARE THERE when using windows explorer or file viewer.  They are NOT there inside of CrazyTalk.  CrazyTalk is not seeing the folder structure.

Hi Bill,

Your Windows File Explorer screenshots show the "Auto Animation Library Vol.1" folder but not the files inside. Are you sure the files are there?

I have just installed the Auto Animation Library Vol.1 into CrazyTalk 8 and the files are there so it may be that your content was not installed correctly (see below). Do try installing the content again using the Content Downloader. When it is finished, you can see and save a log showing where the content has been installed and if the process was  completed successfully.

 I have done this, twice now.  Un installed everything, deleted the folders, re'installed and then reinstalled the content.  Same thing, the files are there in Windows Explorer but not in CT8.  I have even tried to install it on a different physical drive.  Same thing.

Thanks for clarifying that the files are actually in the Auto Animation Library Vol.1 folder and that they were installed correctly.

Please do ensure you are using the latest version of CrazyTalk 8 which version 8.1. Do also ensure you are logged in with Administrator privileges. Alternatively you can try right clicking the CT8 desktop icon and choose "Run As Administrator" (Windows version).
