Hello-
I purchased crazytalk 8 thinking it would allow me to create 2D figures that move around and point to things on screen. Is it just a talking head thing, and if so, how do I get the type of animation I wanted?

It would really help them if people read the product descriptions before buying...Unsure

kevin.S gave you the answer.

I think iClone Pro is what you are looking for.  You can photo fit a face in CrazyTalk then import that face into Character Creator which can then be opened in iClone.  As a result, you would have a 3D character that can be animated and with a facial texture derived from your own photo.  I hope this helps.  CrazyTalk only animates faces and to a lesser degree, anything from the shoulders up.  Hands aren't going to animate in CrazyTalk.
I hope this helps!
