See Image.
1) I can't remove just  the horses & ground in 3DXChange , because black Horses, black  Carriage structure & ground, are all one Face.(Front & Back).
2) Can I remove just Horses & ground in Sketchup (Horses harnesses & traces, are all separate faces, which I need)?
3) If yes - How.?
Anyone with a quick Tute? Mark?
This is for a Pinhead Halloween ClipBigGrin

That's the prop I used in "They Saved Dracula's Brain". They are removable in SketchUp. Pretty much just select the item and delete it or select and use the "Make Group" option with a Right Click. In 3DXchange of course use the sub prop tool for thing like the wheels. If a Group is already present you would use the Explode Group option with a Right Click to drill-down and delete items or to separate items.

Sorry no time for a tute in the middle of creating animated backdrops for three plays.. crazy!

I just took a look at the model in SU. It's very badly made, but what you want to do can be done.

In SketchUp click on each horse and the ground and just hit the delete key for each one. Don't do anything else on the model in SketchUp, just save it with a new name and then open it in 3DXchange. Once there you can make both the front and rear wheel pairs separate sub-props. Don't use "Exclude Back faces" in 3DXchange - more than half of the model will not be visible due to the way it's been built.

The front wheel pair are 28Skp Mesh, and the rear wheels are 25Skp Mesh, and when making each pair separate sub-props be sure to select both the front and rear faces together otherwise you will end up with only part of each wheel as a sub-prop.

@ Mark & Gerry. Thanks-again. Smile
Mission accomplished. See Pic.
Will need some tricky re-sizing. Using Chuck as a Dummy Avatar, he & horses look approx correct size.  Carriage can be re-sized that automatically re-sizes horse harness & traces that can be fine-tuned, as they are sub-Props. Wheels should rotate, using Physics Toolbox.
