I have just bought 3DExchange6 and loaded in a car from 3D Warehouse. However, I cannot resize the car because the hot keys don't do anything and the object modify icons are greyed out on the toolbar. The onject itself is selected because it has a yellow box around it. I have removed and re installed the program and updated the patches. Any ideas? Thanks guys

Thank you for posting the screen shot. Can you scale the car by using the input value boxes?

Also, the first thing that I notice, based on the size of the grid in the shot, is that the car seems to be very small. Can you set it in the grid center by clicking on "Align to Center" and then "Align to Ground". Make sure that the "Dummy" is also visible.

In your last screen shot you have a sub-part selected, and not the main model root - the part name at the very top of the list. The Move, Rotate and Scale functions are not available for sub-parts - unless they are first converted into Sub-props.

Here is the car scaled up and aligened

How did you get the car scaled?

Hi
I am following a video tutorial that renders this car into iclone and then renders in indigo. I scaled the car by using the numbers in the modify panel.
It also makes no difference if I select the root car or any specific part, as the hot keys will still not work.
Cheers

Is this the only model from 3D Warehouse that isn't showing the object modify icons?
