Hi all,
I've got Mason in iClone 6 with a short animation. He's holding a glass of beer in his hand (tried both linking and attaching). Near the end of the animation he throws the glass backwards over his shoulder and lets go. The glass is Physical and it's state starts out as Kinematic (so it stays in Mason's hand and moves along his movements) and is changed to Dynamic at the moment Mason let's go of the glass, making the glass fall down. The glass falls to the ground (infinite plane) with a particle animation (waterfall) to animate the beer spilling out.
So far so good.
Now I need to get this all into Unity 5.3.3 using 3DXchange.
What is the workflow to get this working?
If I link the glass (and particle emitter) they're not exported to 3DXchange.
If I attach the glass (and the emitter) they are exported but Mason does not let go of the glass.
