Hey, So basically all I want to do is create 2-3 characters and use face photographs for their heads. I'd want multiple speaking characters and the ability to do minor editing of when those speakers talk in the timeline along with some facial movements. Nothing fancy.
Can this be done in the standard version? or would I need the pro?

I would recommend the Pro version because the Standard version is a bit limited for editing.
With the Standard version you have to rely on, for the most part, on pre-made content and animations.
